Delete your account
Last updated: September 2026
This page explains how to request deletion of your Oraré account and its associated personal data, what gets deleted, and what we are required to retain.
1. Who can request it
Anyone with an Oraré account: parish owners and collaborators who use the mobile app or the management portal, and donors who have identified themselves on the donations site.
2. How to request deletion
Send us an email from the address associated with your account and we will process it:
If the button does not work, write to us directly at hola@orareapp.com with the subject “Account deletion request”, stating your account email and the app you use.
We will verify that the request comes from the account holder before deleting anything.
3. What is deleted
- Your login account: email, credentials, and linked identities (Google, Apple).
- Your profile and your collaborator link to the parish.
- The push notification tokens for your devices and your notification preferences.
- Any contact details you have provided to us.
Content you published on behalf of the parish (songs, schedules, announcements, bulletins) belongs to the parish and is not deleted along with your account.
4. What is retained and why
We cannot delete donation records or fiscal certificates already issued, together with the identifying data that the law requires them to contain. We retain this data for the legally mandated periods (4 years for tax data under Spanish General Tax Law).
Once that period has elapsed, this data is deleted. You can find the details in our Privacy Policy.
5. If you are the sole owner of a parish
Before deleting your account we will contact you to transfer the parish to someone else, so that it is not left without access and donations are not interrupted.
6. Response time
We will handle your request within a maximum of 30 days from the moment we verify your identity, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.
If you have any questions about the process, write to us at hola@orareapp.com.
